Hi Tim, I have just passed a very interesting hour reading some of the tales on your website. Thank you for your excellent website. I am trying to find the location of a walk I did maybe 15 years ago on the moor. I was new to the area and hadn't got my bearings. I recall passing an old Dartmoor cottage which had an outbuilding with a very small window. My guidebook mentioned that this cottage had been the former home of a woman who lived alone,. Except she had a son, who she kept locked in the outbuilding, and who was known to scream and roar through his small window at anyone who passed by the outbuilding. Have you heard of this story and are you able to help me with a location please? Thanks in anticipation.
Please wait...
