TRADITIONS
|
Good bread and good drink, a good fire in the hall, Brawne, pudding and souse and good mustard withal, Beef, mutton and pork, shred pies of the best, Pig, veal, goose and bacon and turkey well drest, Cheese, apples and nuts, jolly carols to hear As then in the country is counted good cheer.
Unfortunately, "Time and Dissertations Wait for No Man", which means that due to commitments of a university nature there will not be the usual amount of Christmas pages this year. But as always Dartmoor is a magical place over the festive season and I hope that everybody who is lucky enough to spend some time on the moor has an equally magical experience.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has supported this site during 2007 and to wish them a very happy Christmas and a very, very prosperous New Year.
All being well, 2008 will see 'Legendary Dartmoor' continue to grow and as my meagre web skills improve to include various other interactive features - depending on what Santa brings.
